The Cocoon Jacket is one of our simplest styles to sew and in the right fabric, will bring an air of luxury and style to any outfit. The relaxed cocoon shape is flattering for a range of body types, and is you sew up in a non-fraying fabric like boiled wool, there are only a couple of pattern pieces to tackle.
Please note, the sizing on this pattern is very generous. If you prefer a snugger fit, we would recommend creating a toile or performing a tissue fit to choose the size that suits you best
FABRIC SUGGESTIONS:
Non-fraying fabric, such as boiled wool, loden or felt can be sewn without facings.
To sew a version with facings you can use coating, tweed, wool and stable knit fabric.
NOTIONS:
One or two magnetic snap closures.
